Yes, this topic has been covered before, Yes, there is alot of info on them, Yes, some of them are pretty sketchy!

BUT! i have heard some good and some bad about them, but im cheap and mines crushed in, not leaking yet but next time i throw it down a hill im sure it will be.
What im looking for is the sellers name on ebay or the name of the off brand ones that people have used with success. All ive seen is "mine work great.." "mine suck.."

well which ones are you guys using, there are about 10 different sellers on ebay selling them im just trying to decide which ones you guys are having trouble with and which ones are good, or weather there just a 50/50 shot of getting something that works..

Are you talkin about the chinese rads......I just received this set.

http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_1868wt_1151

I can't say anything bad about them....they fit great, the welds are top notch, they are beefier than stock, plus they hold more coolant.
they were packaged well and at my door in 5 days!
good seller.

I have one as well, and nothing bad to say about them.  They are definately stronger than stock, hold more coolant, cool just as well as stock, cost less than half the money.  There is nothing magical about radiators, the only thing that the stock ones have going for them is the weight, they definately weigh less.  The chinese ones probably weigh almost half a pound more.

I forget who I used but it's been 4 or 5 years and still great. I can't remember the seller all the names sound alike to me.....THAT'S RACIST!!!!    Anyways if you're really cheap look into Mylers fixing them if you're not squeezed for time.

im cheap as in, i dont want to pay 450$ for 3$ worth of aluminum with a fancy name on the box they come in lol. A radiator is a radiator in my opinion, as long as its all aluminum and welded together half way descent idc. Just dont want to pay top dollar for something i KNOW for sure ill crush again. rather spend big money on good stuff like stickers and shit! and i dont really care about a "perfect" mount, just descent, my plastics arent even bolted down all the way! my poor old bike gets beat on HHHHAAAAAAARRRRRDDDDDDD but for some reason keeps on keepin on :banghead: LOL

Go through all the sellers and read their feedback and ratings. That should tell you who the best ones are.

Here is my theory............ It's only a theory.......

Each company that fabricates stuff has "blueprints" for their product but sometimes the copy of those prints are found on the gray or black market. Companies in China get a hold of these prints and start producing the product themselves but sometimes they get a hold of prints that haven't been updated with changes therefore some stuff fits great but other stuff doesn't. I think once these prints hit China they are bought and sold throughout china and copied and multiple Chinese manufacturers start producing that product. Sometimes you'll notice that if a product is popular here in the U.S. and lots of money is made off of it within a few weeks you will see Chinese copies at a fraction of the price available on eBay, Walmart, etc.

Exactly, this is one of those times you dont get what you pay for.  They are overpriced at the OEM level big time.  The ebay aftermarket ones are stronger, and I will likely crash again in the future so they should hold up better.  Save the money and buy the ebay radiators, they work and priced right.
