Hey Dwight Rudder would be all over that. I think he still has a Hodaka that he rides.  What would that be Combat Wombat class?? :banghead:
A friend of mine has about 20 Hodakas, he's in the vintage biz and worked on Dwight's motor.

I rode a Combat Wombat at an ISDT Reunion ride a few years ago... really, when the trail gets truly miserable, those little mountain goats aren't all too bad... not real impressive on a grass-track though.

it will probably end up being something thats hardly cool at all and we are getting amped up fo nothing...

but in my dreams i say 2 strokes allowed in 250 class.... or atleast a 300 2 stroke allowed in the 450 class for christ sake, you kno... make it somewhat fair when it comes to displacements.

besides that all live!

or atleast no cbs AT ALL

LOL 20 Hodakas yikes!! There is a site for Hodaka as well called "Strictly Hodaka" IIRC in Vermont -they have parts and such. Actually owned a few Hodakas back in the day myself.

They'll probably cut the season down to 13 or 15 races and add Mexico City.

honestly that would not be fair to the 4 strokes.  a ported 250 2 stroke will beat any mod 250f (assuming stock displacement)  and the manufacters wouldn't allow that.  sadley thats the world we live in.
Horsepower isn't everything. It's all about how you put it to the ground. Some tracks will favor 2 strokes and some favor 4 strokes.

My guess, something about this:

I goofed off on one in the desert awhile back and tried to wheelie over a whoop, which went about as well as you'd expect.

I'm thinking they are hyping up a all live schedule.

Only if they can keep the riders from hurting themselves in droves...then it becoms a pretty dead schedule somehwere around the 3/4 point in the season....
