Stewart rumors

Why does everyone think James Stewart is switching teams or bike brands? This whole thing was created by a tweet from David Pingree, saying that James is riding a Suzuki with Metcalfe at Milestone, which turned out to be Metcalfe's RV driver. The man has a injury and I witnessed it right in front of me at Indianapolis supercross.

P.S, I think it is hillarious all the people who say they hate him, but if it wasn't for him we wouldn't have anything to talk about on thumpertalk...lmao

I personally like Stewart, I think the racing is more exciting with him in it.  With RV down, it was going to be a boring outdoor season, Dungey would have ran away with it.  I hope the rumors are true about him going to Suzuki, the YZF450 just doesnt seem to suit his riding style.  If he would have sat out of outdoors, I would have considered him a lost cause.  He needs this badly to get his career back on track.  I dont think things will ever go back to him blowing everyone away, but he should be up front.  Stewart hasnt looked right since Yamaha switched to the new frame.  He pretty good on the older generation YZF.  The YZF is now front wheel heavy, and with a rider who rides over the handlebars, thats a tough setup.

I thought the 'issue' with the new 450 was too light in the front (due to rearward engine and centralization)?

GO JS7!
Fixed for accuracy, I'm betting his ride next year has little tassels coming off the handle bars.

Please, please JS7, ride a Suzuki or whatever suits you!  We need you in outdoors to make it more exciting and lets put an end to all the speculation that you cannot get the old mojo back because of the Yamaha that has too light / too heavy front end / different frame that you cant get used to, etc...  PLEASE RACE SOMETHING!

For what it's worth ( :banghead: )...

This month's Dirtrider mag says "The YZ450 is front-end heavy and James rides way forward on the bike... a recipe for crashing."
