I'm currently trying to decide between an '02 Husky CR250 and an '00 Honda Cr250. Price-wise they're about the same (actually I can get a little better deal on the Husky) condition-wise they're also about the same. I know quite a bit about the Honda, but nothing about the Husky. I've tried researching here and the net, but there isn't a ton of info on the Husky, especially an '02.
The bike will be used mostly for track riding (but no racing), with a little bit of everything else thrown in (woods, playriding, etc) and I'm a novice as far as skill level. From what I have read they're very durable and reliable, but my biggest concerns are parts availability/ price for the Husky. Also, are there any known issues that I should look out for?
Thanks for your input.
Which one: Husky CR250 or Honda CR250?

Hi,
a common question as the Husky CR 250's are SOO realtively cheap,

A good local dealer is a bonus,
but parts are easily obtained in the post ( less than a week),

I have a friend with a 03 Honda cr250r and the motor runs like crap. The fixes are out there but the Husky is easier to get right imo.
