Hi guys.

I'm in the middle on rebuilding a 1991 WR250Z shock and am in need of a new air bladder. Now the problem - The bladder measures 46mm x 113mm (ODxL) but I can't find an exact replacement online. The closest I can get is a YZ 250 bladder with dimensions 46mm x 103mm. Now my question - Will the shorter bladder make a difference? In theory I might just have to add a touch more oil.

Or do I really need to replace the shock because I can't find a $10 part?

Cheers.

The bladder will be large enough, but a more important question is whether the later one will fit onto/into the bladder cap properly and seal as it should.

Your old bladder expanded to the seize you measured.
Its not the stock seize with 113 mm length.

The left one was in a shock a serviced. The right one is a new KYB Bladder 46x103.

@Vietze - Thanks a lot. That was the info I was looking for!

@garyracer513 - I'll have to buy one and hope for the best. I'm pretty sure it will work after seeing that picture above. Thanks!
