It runs perfect, starts second pull every time. The only downside is that there is a hole in the cowl. I plan on bondoing it then paitning the entire cowl again.
What do you guys think? These pictures are it.

Thanks man, I was thinking i got a great deal as well, but i've never owned a snowmobile in my life before. Is there any maintenance i should be aware of before i begin working on it?
Nice. I thought it was cheap too. I picked the XR in the background up for $1,000 about 4 years back. I also thought that was a good deal.

Lube the skid
lube front end
Check boogie wheels
change chain case oil
service the shocks
Adj track tension
good carbides or shaper bars
adj toe in / out on skis
Fresh belt (wash the mold release off B4 installing it)
Keep an eye on the intake boots make sure they arent cracked from dry rot. (cause a lean condition and burn down the motor)
I would pick the track...its a preference thing, but it real helps getting the power to the ground in marginal snow conditions and helps braking a lot. I use Studboy doubles with the larger tower nuts.
