I saw a post on here that said " E model CDI" as a Mod.
I put an E engine in my sm, I am currently running with the sm CDI.
Is their a gain from using the E model CDI?

Extra 500rpm over the sm cdi as I recall,as power is done well before the redline I wouldn't bother changing it.

On a otherwise stock motor? Not worth the time or money.

As mentioned, the motor is done power-wise well before the E or S redline.

Thanks, I have the E CDI, came with engine. It wouldn't of cost me anything but as you guys mentioned, not worth it.
Wish it came with the fcr :banghead:

If it's free why not?  Not like it's any effort.  Unpin the green wire and go!
