Have a 2009 YZ, is it normal for this bike to use more fuel than a 07 WR450 (uncorked)?

Probably a bit. Even uncorked a WR is in a lower state of tune than the YZ. The overall taller gearing probably has an even greater effect on milage than the engine. The WR has a larger fuel tank also so that adds to the range between refuel.
