With the 08 bike, all they do is back the timing off a little so you dont blow the rear tire away constantly. If you wanted to disable the censor its pretty easy. At that point you'd have full advance all the time. With the smaller exhaust valves they pull like a friggin tractor off the bottom and spin the tire pretty easily. It just makes it easier to ride aggressively. If you dont want the steering damper, its a two bolt delete.
