on the crf450 it uses the bleedstack and on the kx450f 2012 it uses no bleed stack, is there any difference in the compression valve or it is just different settings?

Some say the bleedstack helps in the transition to hi-speed. They were a nice addition when they came out but now most manufacturers are going away from it.

i remove it in all forks , more difference from all open to all closed clicker in the basevalve

i,m about to add one back in on my yz250.i get too much brake dive.i ,ve read that a bleed stack can be tuned to have a more seamless transition from low to high speed.

the bleed stack i was recommended(by russ i think) has it,s own bleed shim.so it starts with a 12mm x.10 face shim then continues with the stock or slightly softer than stock bleed stack.this way it should maintain slow small hack compliance and still have some "teeth" for brake dive.

It depends on your mid valve stack and spring rate. Most of 450 bikes really need that bleed stack and some 125 and 250 models also need that. Kxf 450 has a bleed stack. there are 2x 22.11 and 2x 11.25 shims (Eu model).

-12 crf has different base valve pistons and different settings but mid valve desing is same on both bikes with different stacks.

This is more like pressure balancing on both bikes.
