Hello all!
I might be moving down to Elko in the coming months and have been on the scout for some decent tracks to ride at. I'm told that NV in general is great for singletrack and some great freeriding but I would like to be able to put in some laps every now and then somewhere local! sadly, I haven't seen anything really all that close to Elko itself. will i have to plan on a commute to tracks? anything just over the boarder in Utah?
MX/SX in Northeast NV?

I live in Elko and we don't have any realt rack now but around 3 or so in the hills people play on, not real tracks but fun. Anyway there are real tracks at Carlin(20 miles), Battle Mountain(70miles). Wells(50) and Winnemucca(125). There is a nice 50 miles or so of single track just south of town too. They also have a Desert race here in the Fall.

Thanks no1clyde! I was checking out the website for Gold Rush in Carlin, looks like a really fun track! those play areas also sound like a blast up in the hills!
