Awesome, now we can put the Ike issue to rest even if it's a Yamaha he ends up riding? I hope it's a zook so he has no excuses after all he tested one all summer right?

Sorry no. If he goes back on one the issue still prevails especially if he still crashes alot. It's funny how they have gone to the 250f frame on the wr450 and the yz250f riders are not having the front wheel traction problems that the 450 has and even Milsaps lost the front end at NO. Plus there's a photo of a jgr bike on here with works showa forks on it and I've read where they're trying everything to gain front wheel traction but the only thing they cant change is the frame geometry because of the production rule. I had one and it's a great bike except for the tracking which a redisgn is the only cure for apparently. Showa forks won't come on a production yz450 anytime soon I don't think. I asked my self "Y" after I bought it and "I'm glad that POS is gone" after I sold it! I am a KTM rider for life or at least until I die or something way better comes along which I don't see happening anytime soon.

BLEED ORANGE!

Impossible....  jimmy always finds excuses.  On a zook, it'll be something week to week how his helmet didn't fit right....

just sayin'....

the sport call's it as it see's it

Seems like a way to get out of doing Outdoors.  I don't think he wants to go Outdoors ever again.

Yup just like last year they won't have enough time to get the bike set up so Jimmy will have to skip them all. I wonder if he'll try and get on the Des Nations team again and throw another little fit?

I was really hoping he would do outdoors. It doesn't seem as if he's going to. He said he would do it out of his own box van if he had to, lets see if that comes to pass.

So if the bike is such a piece of $h!t. How is it that he can kill it in practice and kill it in the heat? Then all of the sudden he chokes in the main??? Then he goes out on a bike that has such shitty handing and wins a race with the worst riding conditions of the year and blows away the field. Yamaha went 1-2 didn't they? Hmmmm interesting.

Then you get off on how much better ktm is. Didn't roczen loss a race because he lost traction?? Don't you you calling it a pos.

Villo lost his front wheel last weekend. Is that a pos?

And doesn't  Yamaha have just as many wins as KTM this year??????

When will people realize its the RIDER!!!!!! And not the bike.

It would unreasonable to expect him to stay with JGR.   If he's changing bikes, it would be unreasonable to expect him to be ready to ride outdoors.  Maybe towards the end of the season he may be able to get out there and see where he stands.   No better way to learn about a bike than to race it.

At this level, its the rider AND the bike. They have to get along.  But, there's no doubt that James makes that bike look worse than it probably is.

. First off.. That race was no where near the same conditions as a normal sx race... Slower speeds..not driving into corners there for not putting suspennsion through the same.. That is a horrible example... But im glad you brought that up.. Why is it that that seams to be the only track where that bike shined?  Is it cause the slower speeds not working the susp?  Now you have great points on the heat race win thing... Less than half the laps and half the field... Hum... I wonder why he would win that?  Come on use your head!  Im not blaming the bike for everything.. It obviously can run speeds with davi on it.. Js is faster and harder on the bike... HE should back it down a bit and learn the bike instead of changing it so much.. But then again im not pro!  Even davi said he is running the same setup as a1..  I really think if he had done that it would become more comfy by now!

The only reason he won Daytona is because the ruts kept the bike upright and on track.

I wonder how so many riders that get the chance to ride other bikes, say factory bikes, or move to 350 and 450 sized bikes for one race here and one race there can adapt and do well, and JS cannot adapt to another bike for an entire season?

I think he does not want to ride outdoors because he is scared,, plain and simple, his pride and TV show have gotten the best of him.
If he does not race outdoors and does not get smoked he still has something to hang onto, he can make videos, and ride days and have people think he is the best.

I think you nailed this part of it, he is definitely afraid to give it a go outdoors against all those guys. Fact is James has been there and he knows what it takes to get it done, but I don't think he is willing to do it any longer.

Two weeks ago Ping tweeted that Bubba was riding a Suzuki or at least he saw two Brett Metcalfe's on the track at the same time. And even if he doesn't start testing until next week he has plenty of time to get ready for the Nationals

I think he needs to race to gain back some of those fans that he lost over the past couple of years......Including me
