I have a 2007 KLX 250 and when I go to let the cluch out it quits. It starts up and runs fine,  if it's in nuetral I can pull clutch in and out no prob, but as soon as it's in gear and I just start to let the clutch out it instantly dies... is there some electrical wire that may be shorting?

Thanks
Wayne

Check the kick stand switch. Maybe it thinks the kickstand is down? just a guess? Go Green

Not bad for a guess. I dont own a 250. Was the switch bad or did you have the kickstand down when trying the clutch? I'm glad that was it.

First item to be removed was the kickstand switch. Better to do this in the garage than in the stream or on the shoreline!
