My buddies younger brother has a Raptor 350 Quad and the rear axle bearings have gone bad. Are there any tricks to getting the main axle nut to break loose? The two set screws are already all the way out and on the table, but this thing is locked up solid. Is it a standard right hand thread, counter-clockwise to loosen? Are there any specialty tools that may be "Impact Gun" driven? (Who knows, an offset wrench or socket?) Tips and tricks are welcomed.

This thread can be closed out ...

Notes:
  • The axle nut is definately RH Thread (Counter-Clockwise to loosen) ...
  • They do sell a specialty 46mm offset open end wrench ...
  • However, you can also use a 4ft pipe wrench ...
Special notes:
  • Map gas is your friend, use liberally ...
  • Removing the bearings, or whats left of them, is even more fun ...
