I have none to report other than it was undersprung, brake side chain adjuster keeps coming loose and the rims even though they are supposed to be AL7's flat spot a lot easier than the standard Excels on my other bikes. I ride Nevada desert which can be a little rough at times!

Overall no problems and one of the best handling bikes I have! Better than my Zuks!

Cheers mate doesn't sound like anything major, I'm only an intermediate forest rider so it all sounds good to me.
Can the standard shocks be stiffened up without having to replace anything?

Depends on how much you weigh? I weigh 220lbs with my gear on so playing with the clickers wasn't going to get it. The 2011 450SX-F was sprung for 175lbs and the Austrians mean it! Lol!

Went up one spring rate front and rear. Rear shock oil reservoir modified to a bladder system (O-rings alone on the stock piston holding back the nitrogen pre-charge... no thanks!) and had the Factory Connection aluminum adjuster rings installed (got rid of the piece of crap plastic adjuster ring). It's not perfect but close enough for the girls I go with!

Hindsight is always 20-20! But yes, I would not hesitate to buy another one. The jury is still out on the 2012 and 1/2 but I hear the Ryan Dungey bike or as KTM calls it the Factory Edition is yet another improvement. I'm not yet sold on fuel injection so I'm okay with my 2011 for now! I'm a Controls Systems Tech and a firm believer in the "unfullfilled promise of technology" and "not everything that is new is better"!

Checking out for now!
