Where l live l can buy Motorex oil for a very decent price. 4 liters is around $60. l know Mr. Sisneros recommends Motul 15w 50 however is is almost $40 liter here. l can buy just about any variation of Motorex including 4T Cross Power 10w 60, Power Synth 10w 60(or 50), 4T Formula 15w 50 and a bunch of other types as well.

ls this stuff considered suitable for a DRZ? l put it into my 690 SMC but haven't used it in my DRZ yet...

The significant features of oil for motorcycles are - viscosity, intended for use in motorcycles, recognized brand, and synthetic.  Pretty sure Motorex meets all that.

^^^ and low moly for wet clutch applications.

Run oil in the bike, good oil, syn, and it will perform. Run what you run man. Some people run Rotella T, Some people run Amsoil like me... it is just whatever. But make sure you run bike rated oils for the wet clutch in the bike.

With that said... never used their motor oil but their chain oil is all I will buy. I could only imagine that their motor oil would be good as well.

Fro what it's worth, I have run Motorex in my KTM's since 2005, includes lots of racetrack abuse, no issues, other than it is a touch pricey.
