He was riding the Suzuki for months before he signed with JGR. Suzuki was courting him hard. They might have been testing up to the point that he jumped at the blue cash

That Suzuki seems to be very well sorted out over these last few years.  I am sure there is a whole book on set-up for this bike that any established team, such as Yoshimura, could get a great base-line setting and tweak them from there and get Stewart comfortable.  I would love to see James out there this summer riding basically the same machine that Metcalf or Dungey rode over the last year.  The success of Chad Reed and Ryan Dungey had on these bikes proves their quality.

Yes he was, Transworld even let it slip twice that he was riding Suzukis all summer.  I gotta wonder if JGR fired him, did Stewart demand out, was it mutual?  What system you playing battlefield on?  Only a BF fan would use Wake as a location

He needs a RHC suzuki i have seen some of the factory parts and theres nothing really special the factory bikes heads are ported 2008 heads the trans are stock super finished .my heads are welded and have an entirlet reshaped port that makes  a very wide strong power curve.

you have conection's Ron , get him to test your engine , that would be cool if he ran a RHC engine , MA might not like it so much though . lol

Davi Millsaps will be on the PulpMx show tonight. He might have some interesting insight. This should make the silly season that much better with a spot open at JGR. Free agent RV will have even more leverage in his negotiations.

Well maybe now we will finally get to see if its the bike or JS7.  I still predict we wont see it until next SX, I dont believe he will run outdoors which is what I've said all along.  If he does he will ride a couple of early races and then talk about need for more testing etc.. and drop out.  I am not a hater, would love to see him get back to old form.

Why do you think he will elect not to ride outdoors?

I would think that there is not a lot of time to prepare.  He needs a team around him.   He needs lots of testing.  He needs to get comfortable with yet another bike and yet another team.   A release right now gives him a chance to try to prepare for the outdoors.

Any move for James is a good move.

Him being released is like both quitting and being fired. I think that means that JGR doesn't want him and he doesn't want JGR  (although I would think he has a bigger problem with the bike that the team itself).    No way its an easy decision to part ways.  There has to be a little bad blood.   But, this is what you call "business".

If he starts doing reasonably well, support will be thrown his way.   I think an outdoor championship is most certainly not probable, but he can make a good showing and earn a few sponsors.   At his worst, which is what we are seeing now, he's still the 4th or 5th best guy out there.

He's starting over which is what he needed to do.   Might as well wear the #259.
