Anyone got a simple schematic to follow for a total loss system, I am running an xc bike that has no generator. I have a 12v battery rigged in the airbox, a 12v front light and a 12v led rear light, they just need to work for inspection, I have a spare kill switch, can it be used as a switch (push to work both lights)

Thanks.. the simpler the better!!!!

You can run the negative from the lights back to the battery but you should ground the battery to the frame.  I'd just ground each piece to the frame where it's mounted to save on running wire.
