Hi there,
the current Mousse products by Michelin and so on feel like 0,9 bar air tyres in a new condition.

Over the time, they get softer and as soon as they are soft enough, they get too loose within the tyre to drive a straight line.

Any ideas to resolve this? I thought about adding some horizontal holes to a new mousse or something like this..

Chris

I know some of the tm electraction lads used to drill holes in the mooses for a rocky event, they used a 1" wing tip bit, they drilled them left-right (in line with the handle bars) thru the moose.

The moose was shot after it thou.. one day's use.. too pricy for me!

Holes will make the mousse softer. Unfourtanly that's the downside of a mousse, they wear out!

To combat that problem I have 2 sets of wheels. My race wheels have mousses in them and my practice wheels have tubes. I can go a whole season on a set of mousses.
