I would imagine squats and lunges would help quite a bit.

Do you have a 4 stroke? If its hard to start you may need to adjust you valves or decompression.

Box jumps and all it's variations would be a good place to start. Kicking is a fast twitch, explosive movement. Cleans, jump rope, jumping split squats, etc...

Or electric start! Though there isn't many thumb workouts available, maybe X-BOX?

I am scratching my head how you lack the strength to kick a bike?

Its a fair enough concern --- i have very good leg strength from decades of cycling and lifting,  but there are times when my YZF is a PIA  --- (i'm 5'9 with a 30-31" inseam though ) --- i just use a milk crate as much as i can

Its bad enough that my next bike will be a KTM though,  unless Yamaha decides to add  a starter to a future YZ-F  (but the bike is fat enough as it is)

I have put a lot of thought into this, I have pondered for days about this very question and I have a well thought out solution.

Just work you right bicep, shoulder, tricep etc etc. Basically just the right side of your upper body, then just start your bike with you hand. Not only would it look cool while drinking a Monster Energy wih you hat on sideways but I'm sure it would impress you friends as well as pull chicks. And you can never have enough chicks!!

Throw in a Honz and Fronz quote for extra bonus points...

I think I'd rather attempt to kickstart a diesel locomotive than crank my bike by hand knowing how awful it is recoil starting our little ATV.
