Did I read right that your retiring from the Dakar? If so, are you planning on doing local races like baja and such?

I applaud you on all your efforts, just getting the budget to make it to the Dakar and compete must be difficult.
I enjoyed the covereage over the years and watching you put in great efforts. Enjoy your time with the kids.

I am not a DS rider yet, but I am sure I will be in the future so I look forward to your advice and input.

Since Jonah is on TT to share his pearls of ADV wisdom, what would you guys like to see from him in terms of content?

Mr Steet, It was a pleasure seeing you race. Hey, I have seen were you were going to go on a DS ride with a bunch of people last year here in Wash. (or was it just a hoax ?) and it got canceled. Will you be doing something like this again this year. I would love to ride with the great one ! I can be seen roaming the hills around Cashmere, Entiat, Wenatchee and some times in Ellensburg.

( does this sound a little stocker-ish )

I hope one day my two girls would want to ride with me, have a great time with your kids !

Since Jonah is the top shelf of long distance desert riding, how about desert riding prep tips, mechanics and some ADV stories(IE: Baja and Dakar)?

I want the inside on Dakar... Not just the race, but the things you experience along the way that stuck with you. Of course, lots of pics & video.

Im with Brian here, how about some memorable moments from Dakar. was it everything you had imagened, how about those cage drivers knocking over bikes? That seamed a bit scarry to me..
It was great to spend a few minuets with you at this years Desert 100, hopefully we'll see ya soon..

Where in WA are you? Can we get a build thread on your WR450? Did you do all the work on it?

Sorry guys. This really didn't work out. Jonah went MIA a while back and we never heard from him again. So, he's not participating as TT's dual sport/adventure expert. :(

Maybe, just maybe,  he is getting ready for the Dakar? It would have been nice to hear from him. I hope all is well and he is still enjoying dirt bikes.
