eric, the fox airframe has an extra large size for guys 220 lbs to 260lbs...at 240 lbs i feel well protected. again i took a bad dump and the ribs didnt get reinjured...the only issue was the extra large size only comes in black...
i also like those one size fits all bologny form the other manufacturers...it feels like i have a frizbee taped to my chest...try one one....you will understand...

Definitely try the Nike Pro Combat Hyperstrong Football 4 Pad Adult Shirt under whatever chest protector you use. It works great. See previous post about where to get it.
