My 03 crf's fork tubes are chipped badly and new ones cost too much. I found a full suspension from an 08 crf for $400 and was wondering if they are interchangeable or if there would be a way to make it work. Does anyone know??

08s will bolt up.  you will have a few things.

first you need the 04+ front brake caliper bracket
the axle will be pulled back 2mm
the forks are at least 7mm shorter

The 7mm was eliminated after 03 when the optional 20 inch front wheel was done away with.  The length will be fine.

no, 2006.   05 was the last year of the 20" wheel option.

Hey guys,
This is a bit of an old thread but I was wondering if anyone knows whether 03 450R axle/hub/spacers will fit 07 450R forks.  I picked the axle/hub/spacers up for a good price so I thought I would try them.

Thanks
