First off, love my bike, 06 drz400s.
Just de-winterized it this weekend, and after draining the full take of stabilized fuel and putting in fresh gas, a one second burst of intake/carb cleaner down its throat it roared back to life.
Somehow over the winter however it developed an issue. I am getting a mind numbingingly intense right hand vibration. Very little to no vibration in the left/brake hand, the vibration was not present before winterizing, and the bike is running as well as it did before being put up for the winter. The power feels the same, and the rest of the bike is not vibrating any more than usual, rock solid except the right hand.
Any suspects to check or work arounds?
I do not have stock risers or handlebars, but nothing changed from when I put it away at the beginning of winter to when I fired it up and rode it yesterday. I have rox risers and a pro-taper 7/8" handlebar set. No bushings or rubber in the rox risers but they did not vibrate at all before putting the bike up, at least not to the point that I noticed it.
Thanks for any insight!

it'll go away after you put a few miles on it (I mean your hands will get used to riding again and you won't feel it)

flying_junk: Funny, no way I will get used to that
It is bad enough that a 20 mile trip for my families Easter feast was enough to let me know I have an issue. No way a few more miles will let me get used to it, 5 minutes was enough to make my hand damn near completely numb like I fell asleep laying on it.
Thumping_Black_Drz: A good idea, I will indeed do a full bike check. Interestingly enough last season I had a fairly minor (but still hurt like an sob) wreck riding the Hatfield McCoy trails that was on the right side of the bike. Was hard enough to dent in my foot platform (actually bend the steel) and still not sure what happened exactly but I suspect that the right handlebar was what hit my knee and left me limping for a few months after the mri confirmed I had done some damage. I rode the bike a bit after that and before this year, but never extended road miles. Will put her up on the stand again and check all the bolts, maybe the handguard insert is loose or wedged tight and making only that side shake.
Anyone else ever had a rough vibration on only one side of the handlebars?
