Ok, I wasnt going to post any of this, but Tim your ride report with you and your son prompted me too.

So our story is this.  10 years ago we took a tour with Tim at Baja Bound.  It was great, so the next year we took another one.

This is a picture from that 2nd trip 2004.  We had a great time and did it again the next year 2005 and the next 2006.

After 2006 we decided to ride Baja on our own in 2007. Nothing against Tim he was great, just wanted to do it ourselves.  We had a great time and continued to do a ride every year.  So 2012 was to be our 10 year anniversary of Baja riding, with 5 of the guys still being from the original group from 10 years ago (cinco chicos).  SO!!!!!

We crossed in Tecate with 3 vehicles, our chase truck / trailer an SUV and 12 passenger van which we planned to leave behind with our friends at the Village of Hope   http://vohmexico.blogspot.com/ .  Because of the forcast we changed our routes to the east from the west to avoid the rain.  We began with 11 riders and 2 guys in the chase truck, and 1 spare bike.

I'll be posting more about the trip in the next few days as I have time.

So that was our RIP, we were so Blessed by each person we met and each experience we had.   Special thanks to Tim Morton for exposing us to magnetic Baja, and all the guys in the group who each contributed to make this trip possible.

Later,
Jake
