The connecting rod has a hole bored though with a counter bore on each end that is sized to press fit the bearing(outer race). The race is press tight to the bottom of the counter bore. The through hole is the same diameter as the inside diameter of the race. This makes the race pressed in "blind".
Does anyone know an easy way to properly remove these. I have cut off races before with a die grinder but that's not an option in this case. I'm thinking a Blind Hole Bearing Puller with a little heat applied. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
