Private area where you can only access the trails at this event!

Ron was a founding member of the NMA and probably the main reason we have an ORV trail system in the State of Washington.

Can't wait for Shelton this year.  Last year was my first timekeeping enduro and I went to the class on Saturday which was very well done and I had a blast riding both days.

NMA used to have an explanation of timekeeping on there website.  Does anyone know if it is hiding somewhere on their new site.  I want to give a copy to a buddy of mine that will be doing his first enduro and would like to look at it to refresh my memory also.

Thanks

I must be getting old and blind.   What is the cost for Saturday only?

Heading out this weekend to help with some final trail prep.  I know that mileages are done and the courses for both Sat and Sun are finalized.  I'll have a better feel after this weekend, but conditions are looking really good.

Even more important - there's a new food vendor this year featuring the "triumphant return of the corn dog."  Hard to imagine it getting any better...

The event is back at the fairgrounds this year so the close-in trails have seen more use, but a lot of work was done to stick to the more fun stuff going in at out of the start area.  Also, the course heads into some areas that haven't been used in a while - so the riding should be really awesome!

The Beginner's Enduro also goes into some very fun stuff this year that isn't normally used for that event.  It'll be rider-friendly, but the trails are gonna be a hoot. If you are planning to ride on Sunday, you should consider coming out Saturday to ride the Beginners Enduro and make a weekend of it.

This is all kind of a plug for the events, but I ride out there all the time and I'm still really looking forward to enduro weekend so I can ride those trails again after they've been cleaned up and prep'd for the events. I expect folks are going to have a lot of fun.
