My thinking is that RV will try to finally put a fork in Stewart at Houston and since he know's Bubba's pride is on the ropes, he'll ride a super fast pace race to either make James show he really wants it or crash trying. All I know is that if Stewart wants to regain some composure he better get a good start and put as much disitance between him and RV that he can.

I hope he crashes his brains out and someone else wins the championship.  The irony of the top 6 taking themselves out this year would be epic, poetic & dy-no-mite!

I dont... I dont think its in RV's DNA to back it off. He wants to win every week!

Think so??? LOL. James may not keep it on two wheels but he WILL run RV's pace. It wont be by any doing of RV. Doesnt matter if James is out front or trying to catch RV. He can crash just fine all by himself. If he keeps it upright theres no doubt he will be just as fast as RV.

No doubt that he will be as fast if he keeps it on two wheels?

Actually you mean the young James because the old Stewart of today seems to be doing as least as possible to earn a paycheck.

I think if he shows up he will ride it out until MXdN is announced... thats when he will dissapear if he doesnt make the team. Honestly with RD's injury, if he reinjures the shoulder he very well could be in a position to make the team. I dont see RD injuring himself again but thats pretty much the only shot he has since RD is the team manager as well.

I would not surprise me if his sponsors and tv producers may have wanted him to do it more than he wanted to.

We all have bosses.  If mine paid me what his pay him, I would have tried to find a way to get on the team as well.
