There is another forum here on TT that deals with trucks, trailers, and RV's. Check it out.

I have a 7 X 14 enclosed Carson Trailer, (Carson are very basic/cheap trailers)
It has stood up to a lot of abuse over the past 10 years for a lower end enclosed trailer.
One problem I had with it was the welds for the leaf spring bracket braking off on one side. Luckily it did it very close to home and wasn't too major of a deal. After having the brackets re-welded I have had no problems.
Good Luck!

Check out the manufacturers near you. eBay also is a good place to look to see what's out there. No personal experience with them, but I've heard that you want to avoid the "inexpensive" trailers coming out of Georgia. I have 6' X 10' Pace Outback series ( http://www.paceameri...railers/outback ) and 7' X 16' Cargo Craft Vector series ( http://www.cargocraf....com/vector.htm ) (both V nose). No complaints with either so far but I've had both of them less than a year so I don't have many miles on either of them.

I have a 7x14 haulmark that has been problem free for the better part of 10 years. Still solid. IMO you get what you pay for when trailer shopping.
