I think Barcia sounds very rehearsed.  Like he got questions the night before, and memorized the answers for his interviews during the races.

"The Dunlop tires were hooking up great tonight", every single interview, in the same exact tone of voice. He definately does sound like he pratices in front the mirror before bedtime.

You would be an idiot not to practice your interviews!  I wrestled in the pac-10 and every university has PR people to instruct you on how to interview even for lowly wrestlers.  These guys don't just practice they're coached.

Fake it till ya make it as they say. So if it doesn't come naturally just practice. I would count myself lucky to be really good at just one thing. Rather than average in a lot of things. Better to have talent riding than talent in public speaking, unless one is looking to be a motivational speaker. Personally i don't think he interviews poorly, he is just a little to self conscience; get rid of that trait and Justin will better himself a lot in interviewing. I hope to see the guy improve.

Search around more. There is far worse than this. Geez, Towelie hasn't even warmed up to the task yet in this thread.

honestly, the guy is good enough that if he sounded like a freaking ox when he spoke sponsers would still be begging for him.

I get the impression that he's being sarcastic the whole time he's up there. He's like a prisoner that is forced to tell the camera that his captors are very nice, and treating him fairly. He is PURPOSELY sounding drab and boring because he HAS to, he says all the stupid things that he is FORCED to say, and he thinks it's a joke. And even the new look is part of it. I think he's a rebel and really only cares about riding his motorcycle as fast as he possibly can, and he just wants to crush everybody out there. I'm waiting for the day he says "My Dunlop tires were really hooking up, blah, blah, blah...."

bam bam was a cool up commer that was excited and said it like it is, then he got a taste of the big bikes and thinks he's one of them. the good thing about the 250 were that they were young excited and it showed. barcia is just trying to get this 250 season behind him so he can move up, he's already playing the part and he sucks at it. was a cool kid now just stuck in the same old mold. durram good interview and you feel the enthusiasm

Oh come on now Damian, I grew up in the deep South and everybody from Georigia to way up past your part of the boondocks thinks their way of living is the only way. That's why there's a church on every corner and a special backroom bars for preachers. Jesus picked the East as his main congregation and that's why everyone else in the US hates the East coast, Jesus loves us more. ....

You guys are really starting to offend me with your incorrect comments about the east coast. The backroom is for the prostitutes just as much as the preacher…and it’s not at the bar, it’s in the club house at the golf course.

One way to look at it, they can talk about sponsors all they want, it's the sponsors that put the racing on T.V.

You have a few that can do good interviews, Windham does, as well as a few others. Most of the 250 guys are very young and have to be coached on what to say. Especially standing next to Erin!
