Ok needing some help with an e-ton

1. If you are not familiar with Eton 150s, there is a gear selector on the right side and in order to start it you have to have it in neutral. There is a blue light for forward, green light for neutral and a red light for reverse. The blue light will not come on when in forward and the green light will sometimes come on for neutral. When i get it to stay in neutral and start it, it will stay running for 2-5 seconds and cut off. Could it be a bad slector switch? Thats all I can really tell you about that.

2. Say the above is working fine, when I engage in forward and start to accelerate (about 1/4 throttle) it trys to pull and then stops and grinds like crazy. In reverse it will accelerate a little further maybe 1/2 throttle and let does the same as above. but in reverse it will actually move somewhat.
