ok, ive tried to sell this on here before, but seriously, this time its got to go!

its a 1998 yz400, modified by bbr motorsports. here if a list of SOME of the stuff on it. asking price is 4000 obo.

Brand new engine (only 5 rides on it)from the cases up.

Brand new hinson clutch (full assembly)

JUST got it out of the shop for tune up, wont even ride it.

Fully modified JnM suspension

BBR... kickstarter,gas cap,graphics,seat cover,sub frame (Ti)bar pad.

Ported head

White brothers shorty e-series muffler, with tapered head pipe.

Ti foot pegs.

Carbon fiber everywhere on it.

nickel plated frame (yes real nickel)

brand new set of white plastics

brand new rear tire (never been ridden on)

scotts 3 bolt triple clamps, with pro taper bars.

renthal and talon gold sprockets...

and it comes with a TON of extra parts, cables,washers, bolts, stock parts, EVERYTHING!!!

Yeah maybe so if you had a jet turbine engine strapped to the back of the bike!!! LOL You are rustier than a steel nail Eric...you havent ridden in about 6-7 months (and you have only have 2 yrs of riding experience)!

I think around $3500 is a good deal on our bike w/o the black excel rims/hubs ($500 extra for the rims/hubs combo) You need to quit messing around trying to sell your bike on this forum, all the guys on here already have YZF's...put it in the Houston Chronicle or Cycle Trader! It costs $30 and runs for 3wks, you could easily sell it in that amount of time (I have sold 6 bikes like that and they sell quick, especially at this time of year)! Hope to see you at the track soon...I want to be the first to get dirt on your new CRF or YZF (whatever you get)! LOL

Hey guys. i know this price does sound very steep for a 1998. but understand this. the engine thats in it #1 has only been riden about 5 times. its brand new gentlemen, from the cases up. everything, 2000 dollars worth or brand new. and yes it basicly is a works bike. i mean, this bike has the best of the best, and whoever gets it will be SO proud just to be driving to the track with it in the back of their truck.This bike is amazing, its almost a work of art, yet its an awesome bike to ride.

And for you Garret...Thanx alot for posting replies on here like "that bike is awesome, your only letting it go for 4000??!" but NOOO you had to diss me. lets try and keep the friendly rivalry (that we have come to know as our fun relationship) somewhat more confined to the track or personal e-mails, lol.i mean its fun, but i think you understand.

anyways this bike is amazing, i already have a crate to ship it. i already have brand new plastics ready for it, and everything is ready to go, its up to YOU to just tell me when and where, and youll have yourself one hell of a bike.

Dude, I would love to have it but like mentioned above, I already have one. If I didn't I would probably jump on it. I think most people on here already have one. Plus I need $4000 to through into my Exploder to get the 20" of travel up front that I'm looking for. Good luck with the sale!!

Eric, didn't mean to attract all the "smart-ass" comments to you. I'm sure your bike is awesome, it's just a lesson I've learned the hard way over the years....adding lots of expensive aftermarket stuff does not increase the resale value of the vehicle....unless the buyer really, really wants(emotional not rational) it!!

I also have a '99YZ400 (with $2000 of stuff added) that I'd probably be lucky to get $2800 for with the '02's coming out. Good Luck though & I'd also advertise it in CycleTrader!

Man that sucks, you guys must live in a bad market area. I wouldn't let my '99 go for less then $3500 and I would try for the right person to come along and give me $4000. Granted I'm expecting prices to come down once the new CR hits the floor and they turn out to be awesome but right now you could easily get $4000 for that BBR bike in San Diego.

hey retro thumper, its all good smile.gif second of all Texas is kinda a bad market. but its ok in some respects. i know i almost had a buyer out there in cali. in fact he came from this message board. bjscheel. he almost bought it, had a crate for him and what not, then he was getting the money for it, never heard from him again. that sux! in case yall are wondering here is a pic of it... the only differnces are that now it has a shorty white bros pipe. and black rims. You would have to understand me and Eric's relationship to understand! You have no idea the background of Eric's bike or what has happened/been done to it (I know the background of the bike and work on all of the Bazzy families bikes personally and ride with them every weekend...so I know whats going on)! So I think it is impossible for someone to say that the bike is worth $4000 without ever seeing/riding it! For all you know a bike could a P.O.S. (im not by any way saying Eric's bike is a POS, I am just stating a general fact) and a bike may not be worth 1/2 that! I am not going to go into details as you wouldnt understand, it is a long story!

Hey Eric, get Zach to take some pics with his Digi cam and post them on here (or I could post em for ya) im sure people want to see some up close and detailed pics before they buy! As for the big head LOL that is funny (it is size Large BTW)..but actually I am 6' 175lbs. Man if 175lbs is Fat I bet a skinny person could tread water in a test tube smile.gif ! I got pics of me/my bike on my site check it out! I also have some pics of Eric too BTW! Later,
