The Sparkplug Enduro is less than a month away on Sunday April 15th, we've been very busy since November setting up a great course for you guys! You can get the flyer at the NMA web site, hopefully the link below will get you there, if not go to the NMA home page, click racing, click Enduro series and you will see the link to the flyer. Come out and see what we've been up to in the Tahuya!

Wow, what a difference a week makes! Nice temps, great traction and dry brush. A lot better weather for brushing, the course is going to be great.

Well, how about if we kept them all nice and tight!  Man was it wet out there yesterday!! Looks like another year where we get drenched all winter long getting the forest ready, and then on race day you lucky dogs will probably get sunshine!

Just a reminder that if you're going to pre-enter, get it in the mail this week, the drawing is a week from today. The weather is going to start getting better later this week, it's going to be a great ride!

Boy, it's amazing how fast all that water can disappear once it warms up and quits raining! The dirt is getting perfect, the forecast is great, see you next weekend!

I am a first time rider to enduro's. Would I be ok getting my feet wet at this enduro. I plan on going to the Shelton beginner enduro as well. Do I need anything special? I'll be on a WR450.

sea426,
If you can ride 45 to 55 miles of Tahuya single track, come on out and have a great time!  Since it is your first enduro, I wouldn't worry about timekeeping, just come and ride to get your finisher's pin, that is always something to be proud of! At the starting line, look who has time equipment near you, and just pace yourself off of them, and if they are struggling just follow the arrows on your own and have fun.

skipjack,
Seniors are 40-49 and Super Seniors are 50-59, check the NMA web site under racing/rules for more info.

Yeah I think this would be the first one I've missed in like 6 or 7 years, but I've only been out in the saddle twice in the last 5 months.  Currently I'm getting over Bronchitis too, so weakness would be combined with outofshapeness.  Bummer for Sunday's weather is looking mighty fine.
