If he doesn't have the desire any more he should just retire. If he only wants to play when he is top dog, then he might as well go away. It's RV's time now and I doubt he is going away any time soon. JS just seems to have no luck with the gingers.

I was quite surprised myself remembering how he so often comes back like a leprechaun on speed after crashing. I thought I seen something go flying during the crash. Not sure if it was something critical or not, maybe his goggles?. If not his goggles his bike must be crap...

I think the item that went flying may have been his helmet cam.

His tires might suck too but I cant comment on that.
He has nobody to blame for that but himself.

True. Wonder if there was any linguring loyalty issue to stay with Yamaha. If so...that's a good trait. And If so..Hope Yamaha provides a machine to reward that loyalty.

Isn't that the "eyes" behind his new fly-by-wire GET system? First thing I'd do before coming back on the track is fire the technician responsible for that crash.

LOL, I'm pretty much cool with that. However, I think any of us would kill for Stewey's bike. It's just that we'd have to fix the front suspension that he most certainly screwed up.

Roger has a way with riders. You can not deny his succes rate. He has been good for everyone who has raced for him except the Alessi's who thought they knew better but obviously didn't. Roger has said himself in interviews that the pool of riders that can win races is small. I think he could be the stabilizing buffer that James could grow with. He would hire Stewart in a heart beat if James bought into his program.

James would have to convince roger that he will stay focused and do things roger's way without straying or bitching about it... That will never happen from James and therefore Roger will never hire him. You know and I know it.

Decoster likes to mentor riders and he would not like to become a team manager that get's the finger pointed at him for a rider's continuous F'ups therefore he would never give Stewart even a glance toward putting him on the team plus JS is on a very steep downslope in his career which would also not be very appealing to someone like Roger imo.
