He has no confidence, he hates his bike and I owned a Yamaha, never again. It doesnt even compare to the Honda or Suzuki's ive rode.
His tires might suck too but I cant comment on that.

You're exactly right! He crashes every weekend because he rides a Yamaha. I cannot believe I didn't figure this out sooner!

If he was on a Suzuki, Honda or Kawasaki he would be undefeated this season

If he was on a KTM he would have one loss this season

If he was on a Bultaco the AMA would have crowned him Champion already

If he was a member of the TT Pro Racing forum he would have retired years ago

I'm sure the Yamaha you owned and the one Stewart rides are similar.

I think to a degree it is the bike, for these reasons:  Yamaha no longer does anything factory related with racing.  JGR either develops it themselves or GYTR is the option.  With no R&D going into racing at this level, I would say the bike is a major factor.  James is the other factor

And Davi is having his best season in years cuz the bike sucks ! Stewart is mentally not there since he broke his wrist and thats the reason plain and simple. RV is simply the best rider out there on any bike, and i dont even care for the leprachaun .

People were saying the same thing when he was racing for L&M.  If he hates Yamaha so much, why'd he sign with a Yamaha satellite team?

He did it for the money. How many successful riders do you see on Yamahas in the 450 main? Davey might be battling with Villopoto if he werent on a yamaha's.
I can also think of how well Ricky Deitrich rode a Kawasakli when he went to ride a few outdoor nationals on Ferrys bike. He gets signed to ride Yamahas the next year and does nothing. If anyone has rode a Yamaha 450 from 2006 to current you will know they are not good handling bikes. Ride a new 2011 Honda, Suzuki or Kawi and tell me if they really compare.

The backwards engine effects the handling.  BMW tried that.  Cannondale tried that.  ATK tried to too.  Husaberg is about as close as they have gotten that to work and they are working on engines closer to KTMs now.

there would probably be more Yami's if Yami was still dumping $ into SX racing and it works pretty good in the heat races ............... he is expected to win , if he was on a diff. bike and not winning it would be another reason , any reason other than him , if you are talking about his last fall , try doing what he tried to do on any other bike and it will loose traction , if the new Yami's are light in the front that means they are heavy in the rear and would have helped from loosing traction the way he did .......... the track was slippery and he grabbed too much throttle when he was leaning plain and simple, all the other bikes have thier own feel too and riders adapt

Yes. If he was on a Yamaha he would be in the points lead right now. That backwards engine really hooks up when an Aussie is at the controls

I think if Stewart would just create his own bike brand he would be the world champion of every mx/sx/ex/xc and any other "X" series out there. Hell, he would be god and his fans would be lining up just to watch him pee!

Stewart sucks because.... Well he is JS7, I hope all the JS7 lovers who say it's the haters who are always causing the problems are taking note of this thread, this thread indicates how stupid the typical JS7 fan is, not all of them, just the typical/common ones.

Yep, it's the motorcycle for sure.  What they need to do is change out the nut that connects the footpegs to the throttle tube.
