finally got to try out my new Z-Start Pro yesterday, to my surprise it still has a good amout of engine breaking, it grabs and lets go just like its suppose to and feels great , the left hand rear brake is going to take some time to get use to for sure but all in all it works just i was told it was going to. the suspension feels a lot better since im staying up in the stroke, but i may end up haveing it re-valved to soften up the action a bit, but the springs were a big improvement, Now with the new clutch its easier to see how much the carb needs to tuned and smoothed out a bit.

hi mckin, what is your weight geared up and what springs did you use??

am waiting for my .44 springs for the front. 7.2 at the back for my 188lbs weight!!

i ordered the 44 for keeping  her up in the stroke, hoping to get the harshness out of the forks in some occasions and avoid the revalve....

did it take any significant harshness from the springs?

If your only 188lbs it should be set-up pretty close for your weight,Im 255 with gear on so i went up to a .47 in the front and 8.0 in the rear, it keeps me up in the stroke with out doubt now and still lets the valveing work, a lot better than it was before, But i think a revalve may still be in order, ill give it a few trips on the rocks then decide.
