Looking to keep a 2012 KX450F from boiling over/getting too hot during summer races in temps up to 105d F.
Moto lengths up to 20 minutes with tracks featuring deep sand.
What methods or products do you trust for the KX450 to keep the bike from impoding due to stress and high temps?

Run amsoil 20W50 motor oil when it's hot out and use engine ice for coolant

I trust my cooling to dual core oversized radiators. Cheap chinese ones that are basically fluidyne copies that sell for about $110 for the pair on ebay. Better quality than OEM and they work great. No need for evans npgr or whatever i could probably fill em with a nice warm piss and it still wont over heat.

Run a 95/5 Mix of water/glycol. No need to run anything richer. Water is a MUCH better conductor of heat then glycol, but the antifreeze has some corrosion inhibitors that you will want, hence the 5% glycol. For every 10% of glycol you add you will lose about the same 5-10% in heat transfer capability of the fluid. Also you can get a 1.6 Bar Radiator Cap, it will bump up the boiling point of water to some where around 230-240*F (won't cool the bike any better but does protect against blow-offs) In the winter run a ticker mix of glycol, 65/45 (Water/Glycol) is good down to about -8*F Freeze and minus -55*f burst protection.
Edit - oh and if you use my method use distilled water, It will also help heat transfer and cut down on corrosion and electrolysis. you can buy it in bulk at walmart
