I have found a killer deal on a 1997 XR200R.  I know its a far cry from everything else mentioned here but I can't really pass up the deal. I'll only have about $450 in it. I figure worst case scenario is, I'll get bored pretty quick and look for something different in a few months to a year.  Do ya'll think the xr200 would be good to keep around to teach my 13 old how to use a clutch.  If she gets comfortable on the bike, then she could inherit the bike when I move on to something else.
I think it would be a perfect bike for her to learn on.

Well, you will dwarf the 200, but its better than nothing.  Keep on looking...I have bought and sold many bikes in the past couple of years and I have learned it takes time.  Dont expect to find exactly what you are looking for in a week.  I have looked for 3-4 months for a particular bike and I looked for about 1.5 years until I found a good deal on a clean KTM 300 XC.  The difference is that I had other bikes during those times, so I wasnt exactly hurting for a bike.  Be patient.

No one cares to see pictures of you riding your bike...its not applicable and no one is impressed.  It just provides more crap to weed through when trying to reply.  Provide your opinion and move on.  I wonder how long have you been posting those same pictures...whether its applicable to the discussion or not.  I know Ive seen them a dozen times.
