Spent the next hour hitting most of the rutted hill climb area.
Pictures never do the elevation/steepness justice! Ask Jay!!!!
Posted Image

Of course John has to try making his own path........
Posted Image

Then we head out over the bridge to the Moose series of single tracks.
Clark tries out my 300 for awhile...........a long while!!!!! Took over an hour to get it back!
Posted Image

Some good nasty stuff in here!!
Posted Image

How nasty you ask?????? I think Jerry found out where all the waste from the campers flows!
Posted Image

After many miles of this we finally make our way back to camp to find that they've fixed out window!!!
A piece of wood, some drywall screws.........good to go!
We'll be glad its there because it got down into the low 40's overnite!
Posted Image

Did you know that premix soaked logs make one helluva a good fire?????
Awesome food, beverages and friends! What more could you ask for!!
Posted Image

We head out the next morning and hit the first single track trail we find.......
I mean, come on, its only 100 yards from camp! How bad can it be????
Posted Image

Pete's fork protector says it all..........
Posted Image

We wear ourselves out and then head over to the rock garden........
I've got some video of John tackling this that I'll try to put up tomorrow.
Mike the owner, stopped by and says "I gotta watch this!!!"

Over the weekend we rode trails, trials, and the ever elusive tail............
Posted Image

Its 2:30pm on Saturday and we've all promised our girls we'll be home for Easter!
So we load up and head out...........
John doesn't last long as he's been chased all day!
Posted Image

Clark just wants to dream about a KTM 300..........
Posted Image

Jerry, by far the fittest of us all, pulls Ironman duty and drives on.
Posted Image

We get back to Clark and my trucks in Brooksville around midnight.....
Other than some unexpected dog $h!t all goes well.
I arrived home around 2:00am, tired as hell but happy to have had such an awesome time.
Next time Wankers!!!
Steve

I gotta say thank you repeatedly to Steve, Jerry, Pete, Clark, and Crazy Africa.

They waited for me over and over and over. The single track was insane. I've never ridden anything so narrow.

It really kicked my butt (literally).

Durhamtown is the wild west. I love the variety and I'm already looking forward to heading back. Highland Park is classier place to ride with more technical single track. Also HP is better marked. It's easy to get lost at Durhamtown. I love them both, but even with it's flaws Durhamtown gets my vote for overall good fun factor.

Next time I'll be hitting MX6 and have the CR500 setup for the flat track and GP track.

We met the owner which was really kewl. Nobody broke anything, and all bikes although stained made it out in one piece.

I was able to make it home in 7 hours so it's not a bad drive when there are no accidents.

Again I can't say thank you enough to the crew. Farts, Green Hornet, and exploding glass is just the norm.

Oh sheet, you already have!

Scott....we found some pretty gnarly single track that I have never seen before...you would've loved it!

Another epic trip!!!  It really is amazing how much flame a fart will produce!!

Hope to do it again soon!

A big thanks to Steve for taking the time to take the pictures and then posting them!!  We always have a great time and this trip was no exception.  John being the competitive person that he is, did not disappoint.  My Truck still smells like scorched earth!

Green goggles, Funions, brown bag beer, blue flames, brats, teaching life's lessons to high schoolers, a little B and E into the cabin, great riding and good buds make a fantastic trip.  Cheers fellas.

It was great to ride with everyone and the single track was awesome.  Really something for everyone.  The last trail of our trip  and the moose section were my favorites.  Minus the stench hole that I could not muscle through on the 250.  E-start for sure on the TN trip.  Everyone made it home with no injuries and all bikes intact.  That is always awesome.  Jay good job on hanging with that sore tailbone.  Clark, Seve, Pete, and Africa good times fo sho!!!

Team Wanker OUT!!!!

I still think the head Wanker has cancer...........I don't care what you eat, nothing is gonna make it smell like that!

Pete, I have your chairs....... I'll bring them to Chipley with me.

I guess I'm gonna have to make another GoPro mount for the 300 so I don't have to stop to take pix.
There's a few more pix uploaded to Photobucket if you guys are interested.

Looks like a great time!  Wish my schedule would have allowed me to join you.  I only did a little singletrack but I think I know which trail you did that was right behind the campground.  It was #3 and very tight but fun.  I also combined the Dave trail as one big loop.  I have some helmet cam I am cutting down to about 5 minutes of the best stuff.

Tell Johnny that section at the Redlands is the spectator viewing site!  LOL!  Sean rode his bike out to that spot to take video.  There was a "nice" drop off that went straight down just across from that section.  I have some helmet cam of Sean going up and down as well as some other Redland fun.

I was trying to spectate...I got to the top & never reralised it was about 4' wide at the top...I think I rode about all the vertical climbs. We rode a ton of "Single Tail" & some rocks. That dirt out there is harder than Concrete! Fun place...just tooo many Cockroaches.

Yeah they are everywhere.  If you stay on the single track you can avoid them.  Did you guys do any MX?  The Bomber track was fun.  We shot helmet cam and regular video camera and I am editing it down now.  Sean had a big crash on the Bomber on the finish line triple.  It was a little wet and his foot slipped off the peg right before landing!

Here is the helmet cam of the single track #3, and David Wade trails.  I cut 40 minutes worth of stuff down to about 9 minutes.  It was shot in HD and I think the data rate is too high as you have to pause the video to let it buffer to get continuous playback.  On the next ones I will cut the data rate down to see if it plays smoother.

Yo boys some good riding went on for sure this past weekend!!  Tons of single tail riding as we now know it-if you wanna fit in with the Georgia boys anyhow.  Nobody got taken out and the bikes performed flawlessly.   Scorched  earth my arse-more like the smell of a dead dog picked up from the side of the road and placed under the seat on an 8 hour tour.  Gonna have to start eating baddly to be able to compete w/you wankers on the next trip.  We now know that some farts light up blue and some orange each with different flame velocity!! Good pics Stevo and thanks for letting me ride your 300 AUTOMATIC and being master chef. I think we might have starved without your cooler full of goodies. Good riding and had lots of fun hanging out shootin the B.S..  Jerry, John, Steve, Pete and Jay Cheers to the next ride!! Out!!  Clarkster

I love that place, but they seem to be a bit disorganized.

My key to my place was lost by them. They couldn't find it for 3 hours when I checked in. Another group of buddies were supposed to have their key left for them because they were getting in late.

It's the wild west, but man is that place fun. My dive trip has been cancelled for this week, so I might head up there Thursday.

$75 for a 1/4 sheet of paneling and a few drywall screws.  Now that is what I call highway robbery!  Wander if they honestly fixed that window.  JA time to pay the piper!
