Anyone running braided lines or plus size rotors? Need more stopping power up front. Slowing this bike down from 70+ in the desert is a handful.

Some people take the front rotor cover off...allows more airflow to the rotor.

I used to have to squeeze out everything from my front as I only had Brembo stuff...but switching back to a Japanese bike made me remember how much I like Nissin brakes! I am running the stock setup with a good braided line (local chopper shop made it for me for $30). I run the best fluid money could buy (IMO) the good Motul synthetic and change it often...around every 90 days. My front is a one finger ordeal without issue.
If you need more clamping power - consider going to a solid front rotor. I THINK Moose makes one for the Honda front. A solid front with organic pads (shed the metal for all but mud rides) and you are going to have borderline air brakes up front.

Good to know, I will probably so a braided line soon and flush the system out really good. I just didn't wanna shell out 170+ for a big rotor kit.
@MrEnduro96, I strongly doubt that would make a difference. Maybe to help cool it down a bit but I doubt it would do that much.
