I think the riding gods are against me.  I haven't ridden since last July and was supposed to meet a few guys up North tomorrow morning at 9am.  Well, my van had other plans for me, one of the front inside pads on my brakes just deteriated on my way home tonight.  So, instead of riding the 300, I get to do a brake job. yeaaaaahhhh me.

I hear ya, I was coming back from a race last year pulling the trailer up a hill and the engine died never to start again. After pulling the passenger head and intake manifold I found I blew and intake manifold gasket and was getting water right in the engine. The front passenger side piston had a meltdown. The engine was just rebuilt, I just need to go pick it up. The re-install is going to be a ton of fun I am sure. With races the next three weekend it will not be soon. This truck is a 97 one ton crew cab dually gas drinking towing machine so with gas prices climbing to ever higher levels I am not thrilled but I would rather feed the beast than go buy a new diesel that will end up being a nightmare to keep running.

Not really KTM related but that is how I take the bikes to go ride;) Chear up, a brake job sounds dreamy compared to an engine pulling and install.

Installed EE odometer guard this morning. I'm impressed with the fit and the ease of installation, the guard itself is solid as can be and will protect the oem odometer from crash damage and trail roost. Good stuff.

Cleaned air filter.
Replaced front tire with a brand new obsolete Dunlop 90/100 745.
Changed oil.
Lubed chain.
Bled forks.

I got to sit on mine for a few minutes tonight, after I took the top end of my oldest boys 65sx, does that count?

That counts, it's more than my poor scoots been getting.  I've got a club ride coming up in two weeks and I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly.  Hey, at least my front brakes on the tow vehicle are tip top
