Yesterday I replaced a sub frame bolt that disappeared while flogging her through 25ish miles of sand woops. Today I flogged her through 25 more. This was her first trip out since the end of October, and tonight I'm one sore SOB. The bike seems to be in far better shape than I am.

Drilled out the head on my 10 model so the coolant holes went from 2.5 mm to 4 mm in size as she got a bit hot on a ride recently and insatlled on of those after market fans to sort the overheating .

Had to go back to the standard tank as the larger ims after market wouldnt fit the fan in . so will get the tank rewelded to suit the fan .

also had to cut out some of the force radiator gaurds as they were in the way as well.

Regards Dazza

Rode it hard at the desert 100 and crashed it twice. I rode the Super Senior 50 mile divsion this year (50+ years old) had a blast despite a dislocated thumb at the 22 mile mark and a bruised knee at the 47 mile mark. Ended up placing 81st overall out of 231 riders. Can't wait to do it again next year, it was a hoot  sure glad I put the fat man springs in the front

Here's a vid of the event

Ah new piston kit, wheel bearings/seals. chain, sprockets, Pulled the Trailtech stator/flywheel off and installed the 2k1, and ordered up a new set of Cycra plastics & hand guards. New graphics are in the works. I need to order up some new air filters. I still have three gallons of Dumande Tech oil so I'm good for a while. I picked up a set of Trailtech bar risers and the Voyager housing but have yet to get serious about the install. The Hot Rods crank is being trued and should be installed in the next couple weeks. I am waiting on a big order from Vetex to come in and replenish my bench stock. I dropped over a hundred bucks buying misc nuts, bolts, gaskets, etc that were looking hagard. Oh ya, I need to get some tires. The first GP is next weekend and there is no way I will have everything done but the bike will be good enough.
Joe............

Well he bike was ready for that first GP but I worked the event instead. The Hot Rod crank came in and is now installed. Some of the Vertex order came is so we installed a new top end in the kids 2010 150 engine. I also got some Magura rebuild kits so I rebuilt the master cylinders of our bikes, they were leaking. I pulled the 2k1 stator/flywheel out and installed a new Trailtech stator assembly, we have the 12 hour coming up soon. Next weekend racing at Starvation ridge, Weekend after that the 12 hour, then it's off to teh Virginia City Grand Prix. It is going to be busy;) HAd to get some yard work done and this is how the kids bike sits right now.

Thanks, it was a blast.

I'm located in western Washington but the race is held in Eastern Washington just outside of the Town of Odessa. I've been going over for the annual race every year since 2005.

I'm tryin.

I rode it for 6hrs yesterday. I opted out of racing and became a race marshell for sundays race. There is a morning and afternoon race, I pretty my rode solid from 10am to 4pm. Bike didn't miss a beat the whole way. I did lose a spoke though, saw it lying beside the bike when I stopped on the second lap which made me chuckle. The nice thing is I got some good practice in also. Other then a 3rd gear get off through the sand whoops(race marshells shouldn't be going 3rd gear through the whoops, unless your racing!) I faired ok and had a great time. It was also my fiancés first race and she did good. Something like 7th or 8th out of 13 or so women.

Repaired the damage I did to it during the Desert 100 race, picked up a new to me FMF Fatty pipe and a rear fender off of Craig's List and replaced the front tire and tube. Hoping to ride it again this weekend
