Changed the jetting on mine as i had it dynoed and the only thing that got adjusted was the main jet from a 165 to a 155 now it was running mega rich and i looked in my book annd it said this jet was for 6 to 10 thousand feet and i am at sea level? so i couldnt understand that and the needle etc had not been touched at all?

Decided to install the jd jetting kit so 162 jet,red needle and 38 primary jet from a 35 primary

Sounds sweet so stuck in a new plug and test her out today

Also swapped over froma  red spring to a geen spring to see if i get more traction for wheelies? any tips would be good

Regards Dazza

A friend of mine has a souped up 250f that I wanted to try, as his was also itching to try mine. I knew he was tired but christ....I took off through the trees and didnt think much of it. I stopped after about 15min, he was a ways back, finally caught up and said he fell over a few times. I saw the break pedal was bent but didnt notice anything else until I washed it. The bike is in rough dam shape now. The radiator is whatever, as is the brake pedal but the tabs on the swingarm are a PITA, any advise? I was thinking I would see if I can get them welded but ya, im a little choked as hes a expert rider and I expected better. But on the bright side, my pipe is still beautiful and the wife said I can go buy another dirtbike (really eyeing up a new KX450f) if I so incline. Maybe I will have to race my 530 this weekend?

I had a left rear fender plastic bolt rattle out and then my airbox cover went flying off somewhere on the trail.... went back and couldnt find it, ordered it asap on saturday from ktmcyclehutt with 2 day shipping because memorial day weekend is a big camping/riding weekend down in PA for us, but the cover was in stock but not the clips so they downgraded me to ground to save the cash because it wasnt going to be here in time so....

Yesterday I made a cardboard air box cover that I wrapped i plastic wrap then in duct tape and then painted orange with left over paint from my car then zip tied onto my bike..... I also made a prefilter out of a cheapy furnace filter just in case..... so so so lame... but my only option, I loaned my drz to a friend to ride for the weekend because his bike is down... so ..... now my 200exc is a ghetto looking sleeper...

You may as well cancel that order to ktmhutt as you won't see if for some time if you see it at all.  But, hopefully you have a better experience than most.

monk, I would insist he pay for the repairs.  That is pretty much understood amongst our riding group, you break it you fix it.  How would he feel if you handed his bike to him that way...?  Looks like you will need a swingarm.  I would add the BPD guard for the future.

I rode with my sons on Sunday.  Didn't film the youngest as he is just starting and this was a difficult trail for him on the 50.  Here's some footage of my older son and I.

Second that on a KTMHutt order.  It took almost 4 weeks for a couple of parts to arrive!  Fortunately,I wasn't in a hurry for them.  Good jury-rig though!

Nice video gmoss

For OEM, usually order from Motosport.  They tell you if it's in stock, ship quick, and priced reasonably.

04-07 offroad bikes will fit, 125-300, and possibly even the 4 strokes.

Thanks Recruit!!

I didn't like the effect on the video after hitting th "Fix" button, looked like I was viewing thru a fisheye lens, besides, it locked my computer up for like 30 minutes.

I drove 120 miles to ride a new to me area last week and the dang camera malfuctioned so I didn't get any riding video, just a little bit of the BS session in the parking lot while gearing up. I plan to ride this weekend at my usual spot so should have some more video to post early next week.

You and the boys riding this weekend?

Blew out the fork seals this weekend and coated the brake pads with oil, found this out when I came hot into a corner grabbed what I thought was going to be a handful of front brake only to find out there was nothing there, blew through the corner and wadded myself up out in the brush, sorry gmoss, no video   battries were dead in the camera.

Guess I'll order a full rebuild kit for the forks this week.

I went out and gave a hand with recording a dual sport route for an AMA event this coming weekend.  I learned that I've been babying her in the curves on the trails.  I gained more confidence in  my riding and I picked up some  more speed to my riding today.  I guess following a faster rider really helps.
