My clutch has been giving me heat for the past few rides so i pulled it apart only to find the middle fiber plate had blown the f up. Times are tough and money is short so I am considering ordering a tusk clutch for the bike. I have used one in my yz250 but never on a 4 stroke or honda. has anyone used one before? I do realize that it is a 50$ clutch, not a $200 one. Its not oem or barret but I am assuming it will get the job done. Any pros or cons?

Um, I have a few problems with that as an answer. 1, its from ossidog. I know him personally and it doesn't hold much weight with me for him o say something sucks. I have seen many reviews saying that the tusk clutches are good. I have ran one with no problem. I am looking for someone who has ran one in a crf450x. To make sure they fit and hook up well.

Well that thread includes: A couple of people who have had problems with their Tusk clutches and MANY people who say they've used them and liked them.

As I'm sure most people are aware, TUSK is Rocky Mountain's house brand of products. I have not tried their clutches but have tried many other TUSK products. For a bargain priced brand, TUSK seems to be pretty good stuff and Rocky Mountain has been one of the best online companies I've ever dealt with. I say try the clutch and see how it works. I'm sure RM will stand behind it if it doesn't perform to your liking.

I used one in my trx450r when I still had it. Worked as good as the stock clutch. Actually lasted a bit longer.

Yo, Cheesy! Did you try the TUSK clutch? Just curious, 'cause I have one as a spare.
