Oil smoke is blue-ish and smells like oil smoke.  White smoke can be caused by a coolant leak.  When you shut off a hot bike, there is still alot of pressure in the cooling system and there is no counter-pressure in the combustion chamber to hold back coolant if there is a leak.  So, if you have a bad head gasket, coolant can invade the combustion chamber and pool in there. When you start the bike, it takes time to burn the pooled coolant off, hence the white smoke.   While the bike is running, you may be sucking coolant but the amount may be so small that it is not noticable.

Something to check anyway.

and if you're losing coolant, it will eat up your cylinder pretty quick.  Definitely check and see if it's going down. It's the opposite of a lubricant

Alright I'll check it out. My bike usually looses about 1cm or less of coolant a ride, but I figured that was because of it going out the overflow.

But I rode today and the bike sounds SICKKKKKKKKKK. It also seemed to add a whole bunch of punch in the midrange, still has the same over rev. But it kinda seemed like it was less right off the bottom. But I'm not worried about it. But it pulls so much harder in the mid-range. The track was super tacky but I was wheelying out of a few corners. Like when I get on it it just snatches you and continues to pull you the same all the way till it overrevs. It's so fun to ride now, seems more like a "race motor."

Also, my bike is a 2008. I thought the 2007 and 2008 heads were the same but I was reading that they modified the 08 head and that head has a lot more overrev. Well when I rebuilt my bike I put an 2007 head on there thinking they were the same. So my 08 has an 07 head, hot cames stage 2, and the Yosh RS-2 with a custom shorty (-1") silencer
