Calle d the Ukiah Ranger station - looks like trails are in good shape -she said the dirt at Cow is tackier then Knoxville right now - 130 miles of OHV - there seems to be a fair amount of "motorcycle" trails - hoping that is single track.
Normally ride FH, GT, Stony, etc -so looking to try out Cow as everything else is closed with the snow/rain.
Is it worth the trip? I've heard good things but can't remember.

Sure Cow is worth the trip, even better if you go with someone that knows the way around. Middle creek and Stony should also be open.

Dang Bob - that looks nice. thanks for posting. can you share any of the trails that I should try to make it to -that are on the map - i'll probably end up going with a friend and neither of us have been there before, so any advice would be much appreciated.

I have more vid's of Cow on my youtube account. It's hard to put the trails in a loop but some of my favorite trails.
Trail 1 and 24 are hi traffic trails but still fun so that said, 1,8,9,10,11,19,12,26,14 and your back to the staging area.
2,4,5,2,6,24,strait on 17,15,16,15 work over to 20,23,25 then take the other 17 back to 24 but half way on 24 take a left on 21 and that also dumps you at the staging area.
must do trails, 24,16,26,12,14, miners ridge Those are just the trails I always hit no matter what but all the trails are fun and now is the time to hit it before it get's to hot and dusty. I'm hedded to Vegas for the Nascar race so can't ride this weekend but I can do next.

just got back from cow today, and it was great, some dust cuz i was fallowing, and theirs some good true single track not that machine groomed quad crap like stonford and upperlake, i would go to cow if i were you, get a map and find the trails the previous post recommended..

fallow bobs advice, bob you relay know cow, nascar don't they just drive in circles i think id get dizzy watching that, love the Vegas track, we raced AA gas there its a great track, we just won the 7.0 pro class last week end at the march meet at famoso, was the most amazing win considering we never had the funny car down the track before,

OSSIDOG - my buddy and I, and maybe this badass chick - were going to plan to start riding by 10am on Sat. Leaving oakland at 630 - picking up friend in santa rosa at 730 - on road by 8 again.

I can only do Sunday. You should still go, online map and realize the road runs from the east side to the west side and know if your above it or below it, big picture is very easy place.

i wouldn't go there ether the trails are way to hard and they don't even run the trail cat over them to make them quad with or for side by sides, there is also some brush that might hit your hand guards,

Never ridden COW before. Always doing Stoney and FH. I may be able to do next weekend if others are headed that way. That is if you don't mind me tagging along?
