I've been lurking around here for a while reading and absorbing information now i'm comfortable enought to ask questions i think....LOL.  I'm a complete newbie to the whole dirt bike world.  I bought a brand new 03' wr250f and have since been working on the whole bog thing.  The bike is completely stock jetting and setting except i changed to a 42 pilot which is helping with the bog.  OK real question here.  I am going to be installing a GYT-R insert in the exhaust and i was wondering what exactly would require rejetting after this and approximately how much of a change i would have to make.  Also I was curious as to how much the new tip will affect the pilot circuit since I seem to just now be getting that dialed in.  Thanks in advance.... :)

Roponator,
Welcome, the new tip will not have much of an effect on the pilot. May need to go a little richer on the main, buy it may be fine as is. Take it for a ride and see how it goes. If you have been running with the stock baffle you will like the GYT-R.

Welcome Reponator,

The '03 WR250 already has a relatively large 185 main when stock. Try a richer clip position as an alternative. It's a free change and may help the bog condition.

Thanks.  After I change the tip the first thing i will try is the needle.   :)
