Dealer told me last night, now it's on the yamaha France site: 2 Wheel drive 450 F
The bike will have Ohlins front forks and rear shock.
The front wheel will only be driven as soon as the rear starts slipping............

It surprises me a little that they'd do 2 different types of drives. Why not make the front and rear hydraulic?

Anyway, the thing looks very cool. I bet it helps a ton climbing hills.

hmmmm!?......works when rear wheel starts slipping.....that would be anytime the throttle is twisted! Must be full-time 2X2. :)

Sure would like to test drive one. I may have to go back to France for work soon. Will try to get some info.

I don't really think it will help much on hills. My front wheel is never really on the ground when I am climbing something steep. :)
