Yes, I did the shocks in all cases except one of the ones with previous suspension jobs. The shock makes a big difference in the control you have at speed. The instructions Dave sends are very complete and thorough, and if followed, will get you through your first one with no problem. IMO, they're simpler than the forks are.


I've been wondering about you. You're quite welcome. Glad you're happy with it all, but I'm not surprised. :bonk:

Glad to hear it may be easier than the forks. You know always nervous the first time.

Just an update never recieved kit after personally talking to Dave and him telling me he was shipping it the next day. Guess I am not getting it as it has been more than a month. The bright side is he never billed my credit card so I don't have to argue with him about that. Looks like it will be Race Tech.

I think you should have called him about it after it was a no-show in a week's time. I get the feeling that the guy is a one man band and very busy with the rebuilds he does for others. Chances are he just lost track of your order.

I have the same feeling about Dave. Talked to him many times was promised many times and they never came true. I think he takes to much on by himself. No hard feelings just moving on.
