After some 25 years of abuse my fathers 250x has grenaded the rear bearings and carrier. I am looking for some advice on where to look for parts and possibly see what some of you TTer's have laying around the garage after you have upgraded your quad to higher performance parts. I will be needing everything from bearings, seals, carrier and axle.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a 300ex carrier and axle setup on the 250x?
Any advice/guidance on this would be extremely helpful.
Thank you.

I have a 1991 250X and I bought a billet aluminum carrier from www.rpm.com that was loaded with bearings and has a grease zerk built in.I think mine cost around $180. You should be able to use a carrier from a 300EX though if you choose.I got all the other seals(what a PITA) from a local dealer;although this carrier doesn't use all the original seals

So I hit the web and it looks like the link is www.team-rpm.com, thanks for the guidance. They have pretty solid components that I am definately going to invenst in. I get all the seals from www.bikebandit.com using their image reference link for the year bike/quad I am working. Always fast and accurate with everything I order there. Thanks for the reply.
